So I was wondering is anyone out there reading this entry at this moment in time interested in doing a bit of a collaboration. By this I mean we could work together on a blog entry, this could be fashion related, about health and beauty, or even something exciting about where you live or your travels. I would love to work alongside someone to create something a little different from the usual blogging routine...I'm open to all ideas and would love for you to get in touch via my email or just message me below.. Look forward to hearing from you guys!

What's in my handbag...
Now I am a little OCD when it comes to organisation and I've learnt that the only way to find what Im looking for in my bag is to organise and organise until there's pockets and cases for everything including the cases themselves...I do tend to rotate my handbags quite a bit but this is the one I'm currently loving.
So here goes...hope you enjoy!
The bag is my very first designer purchase its a Prada Vitello Daino tote bag. I've had this for a number of years, so I'm sure the design is very old. The bag even empty weighs and tonne so by the time I'm done filling it up it might as well be a baby elephant!
Love the side pockets, usually put keys and anything I'm likely to need frequently. |
Birds eye view- theres a central zipper section, a section on either side, and the usual small back zipper pocket. As well as the 2 side pockets.
|
Case number 2...more beauty things
Bourjois face powder
H&M retractible powder brush
Another lip balm
Breath freshioning spray
Travello with Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume
Chanticaille cream blush
|
Case number 3:
Blackberry UK number
Blackberry Canada number
Ipod 4 for music and apps
Canon Powershot SD1200 IS - great for carrying around
|
My Zara wallet with only essential cards
Rayban small aviator sunglasses
Wrigleys extra bubblegum flavoured gum, brings back childhood memories
and another case......
|
Middle zipper pocket full of random goodies...need a clear out me thinks! |
My wedge sneaker fetish!
If there's been a recent trend that I've fallen head over heels for, this is it....I love all things sneakers (trainers for UK dwellers) and all things wedge (standing at 5ft 4inches, I need all the help I cant get!) What I love most is the variety of styles out there from designer Isabel Marants to sporty Addidas and Nike to the good old Highstreet versions. And being the obsessive individual I am I have one of each...I know what you're thinking, how many pairs could I possibly need? its not like I play basketball or anything! but for these bad boys I would learn...so I thought I'd share my obsession with you.... Hope you enjoy!
| ASH Bowie wedge sneakers- my first ever pair, love these as they're quite slim line so can look smart- ish |
| ASH look alikes from the Highstreet I paid little more than £20 for these... bargain!! |
| Isabel Marant Betty sneakers- these have been well worn and look a little weathered, but still very much loved |
| These are some online buys, probably most worn pair, I even wore these to trek up Mount Snowden (in Wales) so they have a story and half to tell! |
| Topshop wedge trainers- brought on a whim, very comfy not very glam |
And last but in no way the least, my latest purchase... I just couldn't resist, I've seen them on every blogger and I just had to have them. I originally wanted white but when I saw these it was decided!
Celeb looks I'm loving..
Hi hope everyone is well, over the last few years I have been collecting various images of all the things that inspire me, ranging from fashion, nature, food, colours and even celebs. Amongst the hoard are more than a fair share of outfits that I love...its like i've always subconsciously been preparing for this blog!
More recently I've been putting together some celeb pics whose looks I'm loving, its a combination of the usual fash faves like Olivia Palermo and Miroslava Duma and some not so obvious choices...hope you guys enjoy!
To be honest I love almost anything that VB puts together, anyone that can change their image from a spice girl to a fashion icon has my vote! She has a way of adding femininity to androgynous looks, using simple flowing lines and a pretty basic colour palette. The adorable baby doesn't hurt the case!
This looks by Olivia Palermo is similar, its basic, simple colour palette but is so chic and feminine
Metallic green, silver outerwear, basic white shirt, braided hair and a large embellished neck piece..who would think they would work so well together. I love MD she has a way with really pushing the boundaries and experimenting with colour and textures.
Valentino leather trench with cut out flower pieces...amaaaazing need I say more!?
Rocking the black tailored suit, I think I've found my new LBD
Leather pants and simple white shirt, its been done a million times but always looks good
I need this VB sleeveless coat from her collection...
Perfect summer suit
Rosie Huntington Whiteley shows us how to do an easy breezy summer look
Printed pants perfect for the warmer weather
Nothing understated about this, you either love it or hate it...peplum check, neon check, tailored jacket check, bowling bag check...its got everything I was looking for!

Embellishment galore...
So I've previously mentioned I want to start being more creative and am really interested in taking on some new hobbies. Other than reading and fashion I've pretty much had no hobbies for the last few years, (sad I know...but that's what life as a doctor does, think carefully before you go there! lol no I'm kidding its a great profession) But I've always dreamed of being able to sew and embroider so I figured its now or never.
I've brought myself the basics to start and have watched several You-tube videos outlining the basics when it comes to sewing and embroidery work. I even went as far as to get myself a sewing machine! lol that may have been a little premature and I've not done much more than winding the bobbin (is that even what it's called !?) Anyway starting something new is usually very exciting especially at the beginning. You're full of ideas and energy, but sometimes once you start and realise all the steps involved, the time needed, the patience, the numerous mistakes that just seem to recur etc etc you can run out of steam! And I'm one of those that often falls prey to this so I figured if I was going to stick with my dream to sew I would need some regular inspiration.......and where better to start than the catwalks.
So here is my random compilation of pics which inspire me to pick up that needle and sort through those beads....and I realise these are created by some of the most talented people out there and in way hope to compete, but we all have to start from somewhere!
(most of these pictures are from old seasons as far back as 2010 its a mixture of Chanel, Naeem Khan and Marchesa)
Anyone else starting out on a new hobby? what inspires you?
I'll be sure to follow up with my first embroidery project!

Summer Wishlist has begun!
Despite it not feeling that way, Summer is on its way and with the coming of a new season comes the inevitable 'Wish list' of things I need to own (and will strategically hint to hubby family friends and random folk I meet along the way, I might even resort to carrying pictures and whipping them out at convenient moments!)
Some of these items were promised many months ago but never seemed to have made an appearance....hint hint H&M, although to be honest shopping there can be tres hit and miss, sometimes the new stock doesn't have time to hit the shelves and hangers before it's whipped away by eager beavers, and the first you see of it is on someones' back walking (very fashionably) straight past you!
Anyway I do digress......
I'd say that was the perfect mix of designer and high street fashion makes me feel so much less guilty on balance!
