Decor galore

Finally got round to doing the home decor ideas..its been a busy week of spending time with the hubby and house hunting...ive been collecting most of these ideas for the better part of a year, they're mostly from the internet but also a few from magazine articles. If something catches my eye i just have to make a copy to make sure I dont forget why i loved it.

Minimalistic white on white- can look a little institutional if over done, this room uses just enough colour so as to not look over whelming. I love the muted grey rug.

Keeping with the white theme, I love the large framed silver mirror leaning up against the floor. That's definitely something I'm going to use in my new home!

As you can tell I'm a little obsessed with white interiors...my dream loft possibly...

Great use of a small space, this loft conversion looks spacious despite the sloping ceilings. The simple addition of wooden furniture gives a homely yet modern look.

Need I say more...

Who would have thought a black tiled bathroom could look so open and chic

Love the large vintage sofa, it makes a great focal point for an other wise simple understated room
Im definitely not averse to a little colour and think it can add a touch of grandeur to room, or simply more liveable depending on the look you're going for.

Adding simple touches of colour through curtains or cushions completely changes a room

Monochrome madness?

A few random ideas, as you can tell I haven't formulated one single style for my house to be yet, but I think having all of these images as inspiration is a great starting place. I would suggest Laura Ashley home if you're looking for shabby chic meets English country meets colour luxe. All ideas from any of you guys would be greatly appreciated!

Have a good weekend, and lets hope the weather holds up...
